News Flash....

Sami suddenly announced last night that she wants to have her ears pierced!

This morning....

S:  I wish my ears were pierced.

M: Aww...you'll be a big girl na.

S:  That's okay Mommy, I'll be your baby forever.

S:  So how do I get my ears pierced?

M:  We have to go to the mall, it's like getting a shot but it's very quick.

She considers this....getting a shot...mulls it over.

S;  Mmmm.....that's okay.  I wanna wear pretty earrings.

Arshhh....such a girly girl all in the name of beauty.  This coming from a little kid who takes a day off from school from having a booboo in her knees and acts as if the world has come crashing down.
When she was a bit younger, I have been asking her if she wanted to have her ears pierced.  "Definitely No!" would always be her answer.  I knew there will come a time that she'd want to have her ears pierced...so here comes the day.

Girly Girl Outing

Sami and Mommy are having a girly girl outing this Saturday - we are off to the hair salon! Am looking forward to it. It's going to be Sami's first time. I used to just cut her hair myself, but now that she's five, I think it's time for a hair cut by a professional :-)

Can't wait to see her reaction - just really really really hope that it's not going to be a tantrumy day.

First Parent-Teacher Report

Today is my first ever experience with the Parent-Teacher reporting and received good reports from Sami's teacher which makes me sooooo proud of my Samantha (^-^). 

Tomorrow is PA Day meaning no school, however, Sami is looking forward to daycare as they are having movie time with popcorn and the works!
